Sandra J. Baldauf-Boda Executive Officer

Since becoming EO in 2001, I have been active in both the State and National Associations. I was GEOC (Georgia Executive Officer Council) President from September 1, 2005 until August 31, 2006. I was honored to be named the Georgia Executive Officer of the Year in 2005. In 2005-2006 I served on the Executive Committee of the NAHB EOC (Executive Officer Council); on the EOC Seminar committee and as Chair of the EOC Seminar Sponsorship Committee raised a record breaking $198,500 for the August 2006 Educational Seminar. In February 2007 I was elected to serve on the Board of Directors of the EOC in the capacity of Region B Director acting as liaison between the Executive Officers in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, Florida, Georgia and Puerto Rico and the National Association of Home Builders. Other NAHB EOC Committees I serve on include Professional Development, Professional Policy Development and Seminar. In January 2009 I was recognized at the International Builders Show as having achieved the 250 hour Educational level.
I am a member of Christ our Shepherd Lutheran Church and have participated in the Chamber of Commerce in each of the ten counties that comprise Midwest Georgia's' jurisdiction. I served on the Board of Directors of the Fayette Youth Protection Home in the early 90's and am a 1993 graduate of Leadership Fayette. I am member of ASAE (American Society of Association Executives).
My husband and I have four children and four grandchildren; Ashley (13), Lexi (10) Timmy (2) and Christian (2) and are expecting a new grandchild in May 2010. When not working, I enjoy fitness related activities, scrapbooking, riding with Steve on our 2003 Heritage Softtail Springer, and most important being Nana to granddaughters Ashley and Alexis and grandson Christian.

I was born and raised in Southern California. I attended El Camino College many years ago and majored in Journalism and Business Administration. My husband, Allen, was transferred to Georgia in November, 1998. I joined him in March, 1999. He retired in February, 2005 after 35 years with Western/Delta Airlines. Sadly, Allen passed away in 2007. Among other things, I worked in the mortgage lending industry for 15 years. I attend the Church of San Gabriel in Fayetteville. My daughter, Kristy, and her husband, Pete live in Hampton with their three sons, Dylan, 7, Luke, 4 and Connor, 2. I have two older brothers who still live in Southern California. Mike is a chemist who works in the aerospace industry and Ken is a sales supervisor with Budweiser. My father is deceased and my mother moved to Fayetteville from Sedona, Arizona in 2000. My hobby is to enjoy life to the fullest and spoil my adorable grandchildren!
